Rules of the Tournament
Greetings!
To promote awareness of Jack and Pookie products, we have decided to host tournaments at Perkins Hobby House on Saturdays at noon, located at 56 Mohns Ave, in Petawawa Ontario. When eight people show up, the event will be an official Seat Tournament. The winner of which will be eligible to take place in the finals. When seven people show up, it will just be a routine tournament. When there are four to six people, it will be a one round, winner take all multi-player round. Good luck!
- The Winner of the seat one Tournament will be eligible to participate in the finals and a chance to win a prize AND a grand prize of being a rare promotional card that can be used in the game!
- Table talk is allowed, so long as it is in good fun. In the Multi-player madness round, you can make deals, you can negotiate, but in the end there can be only one winner.
- If you use abusive language, threaten or whatever, you may be ejected from the tournament. This is a game. This is for prizes, but it is also for FUN!
- In the event of a tie during the Multi-player madness round, the winner will be whichever player did the most damage/overkill in the prior round. IF both players did the same amount of damage there. Both players will play a sudden death round. The winner of that match will be the overall winner. In the event of a one round, multi-player madness event, the two players that are tied will play a sudden death round, the winner of that will be the overall winner.
In order to play you MUST have the tournament deck on the day of the game. If you do not bring the deck, you will have to buy one to play
How does it work? This is a single elimination tournament. There are 4 two-player games. The winners of those games get to take part in the multi-player madness round. The winner of the multi-player madness round wins the tournament | Cost to take part in the tournament? A deck or Prophecy: Alpha Edition $15.00 (formerly known as Bo’Glin, Alpha Edition) And the tournament fee $10.00. NOTE: The entire tournament fee goes towards the gift certificate prize or prizes. |
What are the Prizes? For a seven-eight player event, There is one big prize for the winner: $50.00 Gift Certificate for Perkins Hobby House There are three runner up prizes: $10.00 Gift Certificate for Perkins Hobby House. For a four-six player event, There will be one prize for the overall winner: $40.00 to $60.00 Gift Certificate for Perkins Hobby House. |
